COVID-19 Student Testing

MPS offers free COVID-19 rapid testing. Families can fill out a consent form to be kept on file with their child’s school. If a child shows symptoms of COVID-19, the school can arrange to have the child quickly tested. The form also provides the option of routine testing.

Why Test?

Testing will help reduce community spread of COVID-19 and ensure that our schools are safe learning and working environments. The testing of students will assist the district in quickly identifying COVID-19 positive cases, which is critical to preventing school outbreaks.

FREE COVID-19 Rapid Testing for Students

MPS continues to offer FREE COVID-19 rapid testing for students and staff twice per week: Wednesdays from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Pre-registration is required at TrackbyNovir.com.

COVID-19 Student Testing Consent Form

Help keep students safe in our schools! Signed consent forms allow staff to quickly test students and isolate those who test positive. If you have not already done so, sign and return a consent form so your child can be tested.
