Milwaukee Public Schools will continue to offer free breakfast and lunch at the Stop, Grab and Go locations listed below. Starting January 4th, 2021 a free Supper will also be provided with each breakfast and lunch.

In addition to meals, free produce bags will be provided Thursdays as part of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program. MPS provides the meals and produce bags free of charge to all enrolled MPS students or anyone in the community age 18 and under. Meals must be heated and eaten at home.

Meals are available on school days from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.

Three schools offer meals during regular hours AND from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.

  • North Division High School, 1101 W. Center Street
  • Barack Obama School, 5025 N. Sherman Blvd.
  • South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd.

Meals are available for all children ages 18 and under. A family member may pick up meals for children and provide:

  • Student’s school name
  • Number of children 18 and under in the household

Families are asked to visit only one Stop, Grab, and Go meal site per day.

Special Dietary Needs Meal Requests

MPS provides meals for students with special dietary needs and religious restrictions. If you need a specialized meal for a student that has a food allergy or intolerance, texture modified diet, special diet (i.e. renal diet), or religious restriction, please complete the form below a minimum of two (2) days in advance before the date you would like to pick up the student’s meal at an MPS Stop, Grab, and Go location.

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

The Department of Nutrition Services will continue the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program in the month of January. The provided produce bags will help families develop Healthy Habits for the New Year. Weekly produce bag themes during the month of January include: Make it SMART! How to set Realistic, Effective Health Goals, Better Body Image, The Dynamic Duo: Nutrition and Exercise, and Fuel your Body, Power your Mind.

Milwaukee Public Schools will offer the free weekly produce bags at MPS Stop, Grab, and Go locations on January: 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

Each produce bag has been specially selected to provide healthy fresh fruits and vegetables that are paired with nutrition facts, a cooking video, and recipes.
